A host of star-studded celebrities were present to watch Conor McGregor mark his UFC return in style against Donald Cerrone.

The controversial Irishman answered his critics with a blistering knockout after just 40 seconds in Las Vegas, in what was his first fight since suffering defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov 15 months ago.

And among the capacity crowd at the T-Mobile Arena were some of the sporting world’s biggest names, including the likes of Tyson Fury, Tom Brady and Jorge Masvidal.

British heavyweight boxer Fury tipped McGregor to return to boxing during the showpiece, with the Gypsy King watching on as McGregor stepped back into the Octagon.

New England Patriots quarterback Brady was jeered by fans when shown on the big screen at the arena, and was caught on camera greeting UFC president, and good friend, Dana White.

And in the wake of his stunning victory against ‘Cowboy’, McGregor was quick to lash out at his potential next opponent, Masvidal.

The BMF champion was also in attendance, and appeared to have donned the exact same Versace robe worn by McGregor in 2017, leading the Irishman to label Masvidal as ‘weird’.

Dave Bautista, the infamous retired professional wrestler, was snapped within the eager sellout audience as well.

And despite the fight being brought to a premature end, spectators were treated to a truly explosive performance from McGregor right from the off.

After bloodying Cerrone’s nose with his first punch, McGregor promptly floored his opponent a mere 20 seconds into the bout and finished on the ground.
