Eddie Doku, a member of the executive committee of the Ghana Football Association,  has been caught on tape taking what looked like bribe to influence game-time for a player in the Black Stars Team B during the 2017 WAFU Zone B tournament hosted by Ghana.

Doku, also the Greater Accra Regional FA boss, is seen on the aforementioned tape as part of an investigative piece put out by ace investigative reporter, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, titled “Number 12” set to premiere in Accra, today.

Doku, who was the chairman of the national team’s management committee, is seen in the clip pocketing an unspecified amount of  money to ensure that premier side, Accra Hearts of Oak’s winger, Patrick Razak, got more minutes on the pitch for the team.

As it turned out, Razak became one of the tournament’s best performers.

In the tape, Doku is seen taking what looked like a stash of cash from an undercover reporter from Tiger Eye. Doku is seen taking the offer, unwrapping it and splitting the booty into the left, right and back pockets of his trousers.

In an odd act, he is seen handing the wrapping, which he had crumpled, back to the undercover reporter. Apart from his work with the Black Stars B, Doku works as the chairman of the referees’ appointments committee of the Ghana Football Association.
