Liberty Professionals striker, Latif Blessing, has downgraded the Ghana Premier League, in sharp contrast to GFA prez, Kwesi Nyantakyi’s view.
“If the Ghana Football Association president says the league is attractive, fine, that is his opinion,” Latif has told Kumasi-based radio station, Ashh FM, in an interview.
The diminutive attacker in contention for the goal-king award, contends that the morale in the second round of the league has gone south.
He proceeded to contrast the opinion of the FA capo, stressing “Even if you look at this year’s league, the local players cannot go to the Black Stars (the men’s senior national football team).
“So, we have not reached there,” he concluded.
Liberty Professionals travel to Nana Ameyaw Park to play the 13th placed team Techiman City Football Club this weekend.
