The head coach of Ghana premier league side, Berekum Chelsea, Tony Lokko, has lauded Kotoko’s technical ingenuity.
He ate the humble pie following the 3-2 defeat his side suffered in a NCSC match against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Wednesday.
The Porcupines built on their fine form at home to beat Berekum Chelsea by 2-0, courtesy two second half goals from Emmanuel Gyamfi and Abdul Fatawu Shafiu.
C. K. Akonnor’s lads put on an electric second half performance to triumph over stubborn Berekum Chelsea to maintain their lead in the Northern Zone.
“Kotoko was ahead of us technically and I need to applaud the coach for that wonderful show …,” conceded Lokko in a post-match comment.
“Inexperience caused (sic) us in the Kotoko match, notwithstanding that I think they deserve it so lets give them the credit,” he added.
