David Luiz and Thiago Motta were injured during PSG’s crunch clash away at Marseille and so are doubtful for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona on Wednesday week, 15th April.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Verratti will definitely be absent through suspension, and so PSG manager Laurent Blanc could be without four of his regular starting line-up. Luiz is the biggest worry, going off the field after 34 minutes stopping dead in the middle of a run with muscle pains in his left leg, the same leg that he hurt three weeks ago and which kept him out of the friendly match between France and Brazil.
Motta did finish the game in Marseille, but when he went off the pitch at full time he was clutching at his hamstring, and looked to have a problem in that area.
