GHANA 3-1 GUINEA: AFCON 2015 Campaign On Course

October 15, 2014

Goals by Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan, Marseille's Andre Ayew and super sub Emmanuel Agyemang Duah keep Ghana's AFCON 2015 campaign on course, heading for certainty.
In his first home match in charge of the Black Stars, after his former boss, Akwasi Appiah had been axed for what the FA brass considered treachery, Konadu has made good on the trust reposed in him by the beleaguered FA leadership, following their role in the shame and waste that characterized Ghana's ill-fated campaign at the Brazil 2014 world cup.
Now, the FA bigwigs can breathe a welcome respite, as Ghana gains a certain foothold at the top rung, on the march towards the continental championship in Morocco, next year. Likewise, Ghanaian fans all over the world, gain some measure of certainty.
Also, the Black Stars players get a breather, with two matches to go, one a crucial penultimate return leg against Uganda in Kampala, and the last leg of the campaign against the Sparrow Hawks of Togo, I dare say, at Tamale, the venue of Sunday's win over Guinea.
