In line with her previous comments when her son gets publicly criticised, Dolores Aveiro tried to cheer up Cristiano Ronaldo after Zinedine Zidane opted to substitute the forward for the second time in four matches so far, this season.
The 61-year-old mother, an avid social media user, spread positivity with her latest words.
“Never hang your head,” Aveiro posted on Twitter.
The star striker looked uneasy on the bench after being replaced by winger Lucas Vazquez, especially after Las Palmas scored the game-tying goal after 85 minutes.
Real Madrid remain at the top of the table although Barcelona are only trailing by a single point after their comfortable 5-0 win at Sporting Gijon.
