The Brazilian forward took pictures and signed autographs for the PSG supporters as he was followed around the stadium by a camera crew.
Despite his cameo appearance at the event, Neymar’s future at the club hangs in the balance after the 26-year-old has recently been linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid in the summer.
However, the French club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is adamant that Neymar will not be sold in the summer.
Following talk of a potential move, Neymar’s compatriot and Brazil legend Rivaldo believes he is in the prime condition of his life and should look to leave the French capital in order to win honours more befitting of his level.
‘If Neymar doesn’t leave PSG he will never win anything important,’ the 46-year-old told Gazzetta dello Sport.
‘Especially the Champions League, which is the most important competition.
‘The French league is at a lower level compared to the Spanish and English leagues and he plays for a club without history.’
He also failed to fire the Parisians to the latter stages of the Champions League but did manage to pick up the Ligue 1 Player of the Year Award last Sunday despite missing the final part of the their domestic treble-winning season through a broken foot.
Ahead of a timely return to fitness before the World Cup with Brazil this summer, Neymar will remain a hot topic of debate in the transfer market.
