On this day 10 May 1995 (Exactly 24 years ago) Real Zaragoza of Spain won the 35th European Cup Winner’s Cup against Arsenal of England 2-1 in Paris

The first half was goalless. In the second half, Real Zaragoza’s Juan Esnáider opened the scoring, before John Hartson scored Arsenal’s equaliser. The game went into extra time and looked to be heading to a penalty shoot-out.
