UEFA have no shame if they pay off Platini
It shows how untrustworthy UEFA are that not only did its members afford Michel Platini an ovation at a recent Extraordinary Congress in Athens, but also, the discredited former president is now likely to get a pay-off — despite being suspended from the game for four years.
Only in football can a man be found to have taken a dishonest payment measured in millions, and then be due a golden handshake of equal value.
Platini’s successor, Aleksander Ceferin, will have zero credibility if he signs this off.
