Usain Bolt secures spectacular 'triple triple' after Jamaica win 4x100m relay at Rio

Usain Bolt has written himself into folklore by capturing an unprecedented ‘triple triple’ after winning the 4x100m relay at the Olympic Games in Rio.

The Jamaican won both the 100m and 200m individual events at the 2016 Games and managed to follow it up on Friday night by winning the team event with a time of 37.27 to secure his ninth Olympic gold.

Bolt, who has dominated sprinting over the last decade, will not compete at another Olympic Games after the stunning achievement. Japan finished second while the United States came third.
