ARSENAL fans have called on Arsene Wenger to be sacked.
That’s despite the Gunners fighting back to earn a 1-1 draw against Paris St-Germain last night.
Wenger benched Petr Cech and started David Ospina in goal, a decision that went down badly with many of the Emirates faithful.
Ospina shone for Arsenal but it still didn’t save Wenger from a bucketload of abuse.
One upset fan tweeted: “The best transfer that Arsenal can ever hope for is Wenger’s transfer. #WengerOut.”
Another wrote: “Another day @afc Fans if you were #Ozil & #Sanchez why bothered signing a new contract under a clueless money grabbing clown #wengerOut.”
A fellow frustrated Gooner added: “Good point to nick but again we look a shambles. Either we have to step up or someone is going to give us a tonking soon. #WengerOut.”
While one supporter urged Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez to quit the club for the benefit of their careers.
The fan tweeted: “I hope @MesutOzil1088 @Alexis_Sanchez reject contract and request summer transfer! Too good to be playing for @Arsenal #WengerOut #PSGvAFC.”

The #WengerOut hashtag started trending last night before Sanchez popped up with a late leveller.
Wenger is out of contract at the end of the season and his future at the club remains uncertain.
But fans seem intent on driving him out the club.
One fan summed up by the situation by saying: “I think #WengerOut ain’t befitting, it should be #WengerVanish Wenger needs to just vanish out of our eyesight, he is really tacticless.”
