The greatest athlete of all time, Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, decimated the field in the men’s 100m final, eating up the space and catching his opponents, especially Justin Gatlin towards the end, with enough lead to enjoy the victory, beating his chest for emphasis, even before he crossed the finish-line!
What a man, what a man! Indeed, Bolt’s the man! A man of the people, yet, a man of no equal!
Bolt finished the race in a time of 9.81 secs, ahead of Gatlin who managed 9.89, at least 0.03 secs slower than Bolt’s semifinal time, and a whole 0.08 secs slower in the final, emphasising the difference between the greatest athlete of all time and a drug cheat that reformed in time to get beat by the man of no equal.
For the record, America’s Justin Gatlin took the silver in 9.89 secs, with 21-year-young Canadian, Andre de Grasse taking bronze in 9.91 secs.
After taking three straight Olympic 100m gold medals – to say nothing of all his stupendous, monumental world records in-between – Usain Bolt has registered his name as the undisputed athlete of all time.
ekowasmahsports.com has the great honour and privilege to throw salute to the people’s champion, KING USAIN BOLT. Much respect.
