Xabi Alonso was certain of his answer when asked who was better between Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“They are both amazing players. You can see from the goals they score day in day out. But for me Cristiano is the best”, he explained.
Injuries: “injuries aren’t an excuse, but we would have liked to have all our players fit. We’re coming into the tie with the same tension and drive to compete as we would have without the injuries”.
Playing Barça: “For me it makes no difference if we’re playing Barcelona. This is the tie before the final. I’m focused on tomorrow’s game and not what’s happened in previous years”.
